Hi!

I am currently rebuilding my engine. Here is a picture of my oil-filter bracket, with several devices installed.

Do anyone know what they are, and wich ones I can remove? :)

I know the lower left one. Thats for my aftermarket oil-pressure gauge.

The stock oilpressure gauge in the gauge-cluster in the car is not working. I want to fix that.

My guess is that the top left one is the oilpressure warning light. Not sure about the one on the right side thou.

I'd appreciate any input! :)

Thanks,

John

the one on the right is your stock sending unit. mine stopped working. outozone got me a new one. but it was like 50+ bucks. oil pressure is something you don't want to play with on a dsm.

Yes, I want to be sure about my oilpressure.. :) It would make me feel better to have both gauges working, just for peace of mind.. :)

50$ is nothing compared to a new rebuild!

Here is a Copy-Paste from CAPS:

I think I'll buy new sensors for the oilpressure.. :)

Thanks for your replies.. :)

What webshop is the best for OEM mitsubishi parts? :) I have not found a good webshop for OEM parts that ship international.
Most webshops got some OEM parts, but they are generally performance related.

I would try this shop. I'm not sure how they deal with international shipping, but they are an excellent shop!
EXTREME PSI : Your #1 Source for In Stock Performance Parts - Home
i agree. extreme is one of the only places that gets true oem stuff. i bought a new knock sensor from them and it said mitsubishi on the box. along with the dimond star symbols. a friend bought his from slowboy and it was some off brand i never heard of before. funny thing is slowboy racing advertized it as true oem stuff. thats why i don't buy from them anymore. (sorry about the spelling):talon:

I have checked extremepsi webshop.. Can't find the senders there!

Have to look into it some more! :)

ExtremePSI can get any OEM part, but obviously not all are listed on their site. Just contact them and they'll be able to look up the part number (if it's not a regularly stocked item) and get it ordered for you.

Or since you have CAPS, you can look up the part numbers yourself, let them know what you want, they can verify it, and get it ordered.
