I know the 1g mas is a restriction, but that snorkel is getting on my nerves. Would it be in my best interest to find a cheap pipe for it or should I wait to get a 2g mas and a pipe to fit that instead?

I got 85 bucks to spend on a pipe and I'm having no luck finding anything. If I go the 2g mas route I'll have to get a logger and a safc to richen it up, but if I got 1g pipe way I'll stil have that mas restriction.

Get a 2g intake pipe. and just keep using your 1g MAS until you have a 2g MAS.

The coupler is rubber, so 1 side on the oval and 1 side on the circle. just clamp them on tight so it wont fall off. Did this on my 1g but put it back to stock when i got my 2g. and put the pipe on my 2g.

I like 93_tsi_fwd's idea better. Dejon is nice but remember my budget. I'm not gonna get no little ass pipe. I'd rather get the ebay 2g intake pipe that comes with coupler, clamps, and filter. Now let's hope the thing doesn't come off the 1g mas.

I have a 2g mas now, but I'm not gonna install it until I get a logger and some sort of fuel control because of what it'll do to my ecu's readings.
