I've gotten the two screws on each side where the side markers are, the 6 or so on the bottom of the lip, and the four or five where the hood latch is and it still wont come off... Do I have to remove the black piece with the slats running across it on the very top of it held on by four screws? If so, and they're already rounded off, how can I get them off/out? Im trying to instlal my fmic.

I cant get them to back out period... The're still tightend down adn no matter what size screw driver, one that was two inches long, and a reg. size screw driver...neither of them could get them to back out.

right now I'm just concerned of getting the four little plastic/rubber screws holding on the black slatted bar that runs across the very top of the opening... Theres no way that i can get vise grips or a creasant on it becuase its still flush as you just screwed them all the way in....... Please elaborate if you think you could still get them off...

if those are those stupid plastic screws..just take a flat head and wedge them out..most of ht etime they wont break..but if you do just go buy new ones..then once you get them a lil bit out use some needle nose..man get us some pics..so we can see exactly what your refering to

Yes, its those four little plastic screws that are in the opening of the bumper where the fimc will go. I just got pissed off, wedged the flat head inbetween teh bumper and the washer, popped the washer off, and just pulled it through. Now i just have to figure out a way to get the front of the bumper down so I can get to the bottom head light screw..

Eh just rip them out...The headlight not being held by the bottom bolt will not affect it at all. Plus it'll make it a lot easier from now on whenever you have to remove them in the future.

I ripped them out, now I'm trying to figure out how I can get the very nose of the bumper to come down so it will give me some space between the headlight and the bumper so I can now get to the bottom headlight screw :(

You guys mean to tell me that the black part is also part of the bumper cover? So I'll have to cut it out wont I? The core is 24x12x3 and I want the whole bumper opening filled with the core..

Eh? If you ripped the headlight out, then it should be off the car...why do you need to get to the bottom bolt?
