Need help/opinions with Parts list. Quick street car

Hello everyone! I am new to dsm's/turbo vehicles, and sort of new to the site ( been researching everything for some time now here). First things first, my names jordan. And i do not YET have a dsm( trying to find the one). Before i buy any kind of vehicle i have to do my research so thats what i have been doing. I plan on buying the most stock 1st gen talon/eclipse turbo/awd/5 speed i can find. I have been researching and trying to learn as much as i can, so with this thread i would like to post everything i plan on doing to my dsm after i find one and see what you guys think of my mod list. ANY comments, helpful tips, or any kind of info will be GREATLY appreciated. So with all my research this is what i plan on doing ( unless you guys have any other ideas or brands to help make for the best car)

First things first- All maintenance
Should i put a new headgasket and hardware in during maintenance? if so what brand headgasket would you recommend? Will use ARP headstuds.

Walbro 255lph Fuel pump
FIC 650cc injectors
Aeromotive or fuel lab AFPR

Turbo/exhaust related-
Evo 3 16g turbo/internal wastegate

Thats about all i can think of as of right now.. I am sure i am missing some stuff. If you think that i chose the wrong brand/size of something just let me know. Anything with a ? please recommend a brand/size or advise. Anything i left out please say something, or if theres something i should add or something that is not needed. Any links to a certain product would be greatly appreciated also. Like i said i am just trying to make sure i know what im looking at before i start buying stuff. I left the tranny out as my buddy will help me figure that out .

What shock/coilovers would you guys suggest? For looks, and performance.

How much boost could/should i saftley run on a setup like this, Just a street car. (hopefully a quick one)

How much power would you estimate i would push with all the parts listed and on the recommended boost pressure? (1/4 mile?)

Once again i appreciated all the help/comments/tips/advice i can get. If i sound like a noob on some stuff.... well its cause i am :p Thanks

Hey buddy, my name is Mark and I own a 1992 Talon AWD. I think you have made a perfect choice for a street car. My advice to you would be to buy a running, good shape vehicle and do all of your basic maintenance and tune ups. You will be surprised at the power of these cars right off the bat. Check your compression before you purchase, look under the car for leaks from oil pain, trans-axle, differential, power steering pump, turbo feed/drain, valve cover gaskets etc. Look for worn belts as well. Upgrades can be all out, or with patience and determination.
Its all about money, but there are a lot of modifications that don't cost a whole lot of money that will boost your performance. I always like to start with "letting the car breath." These motors are very strong with stock internals. You setup looks like a good start, but that is if the motor is sound, compression is good, and maintenance is done. You need good plugs like NGKs one serious colder thank your recommended, plug wires... you can get your exhaust made if you connect with a good welder...you need to befriend a welder, machinist (whom does work for blocks/heads) but you should no your stuff in order to communicate your needs. Do the 272s, 650ccs will afford 18psi, but consider a water alcohol injection kit so you cant run higher boost levels. if you pop the head off you might as well port and polish it and the intake manifold, head gasket, arps, but again you could just rebuild it at this point so consider that. You can go far on a stock head gasket... if every thing is sound then do your upgrades in blocks. I hope I helped a little bit, I have own many turbo cars and I realized its more enjoyable it small steps at first then the big upgrades. the good news is your vehicle choice is prepared out the ddor for boost, just give it better fuel and spark, and let it breath.
 
replace anything in doubt now or you will probably wil be in the near future when you least expect it also youll learn more as you read here and actually get into the groove of working on the car. Start reading and searching youll find enough information to get you started.
 
Make sure the car you start woth has a healthy engine, do a compression test for sure.
I would skip the 650s and get some 1000s or bigger in case you want to go e85 someday.

Megan downpipe and thernal rd catback (consider buying this used)
Voodoo mbc off ebay
Dk 272 regrinds or Kelford if you have the cash
Valve springs if you get kelfords
new knock sensor
Arp head studs
Coilovers are tough, read up on the subject.
The end power and boost levels will depend on the tune and how far you want to push it. Consider e85 if its availablr in your. area. You should be able to make a quick street car with what you have listed
 
I appreciate all your posts! But, with lack of finding a nice shape talon close to stock. I found one that has already been built... for cheaper then i could have bought a stock car! Ill post a new thread, check it out if youd like! Thanks again for the help
