I have a 2g eclipse 4g63. I bought a Precision 6263 turbo with a tubular maonifold. My problem is a have bent the coolant pipe and the turbo will not fit. I need 1/2 inch to make it work. Can you use something else, besides the coolant pipe? Has anyone re routed the big coolant pipe the hugs the engine block? Any help would be appreciated.

What kind of manifold is it? If its a cheap poorly designed eBay manifold it might be better to look into getting a different manifold. Some people use a spacer between the head and exhaust manifold to get more room but then you have more potential for leaks.

i had a cheap ebay mainfold that had this problem. a manifold spacer worked for me but idealy a better manifold would b best. u can also dent the pipe a little without ruining it.
