before i start, i just wanted to let you all know that yes i have read the tech guide and have searched a lot, but now im just gonna bring my question to you all that know.
i would like to know how everyone is getting all the hp that they're gettin out of their turbos. i have a clipped b16g and i would like to know what would be a good route for me to take if i want to make around 350-400whp. how much more power would i gain if i ported my 2g exhaust manifold and o2 housing? i think that's what i've been reading that people are doin to make some more power. but what else do i need to do? oh yeah, i still have the 2g bov, i need to get i'm guessin the uicp so that i can upgrade to the 1g bov that i have right? and how much boost can a 1g bov handle cause im only runnin 10psi right now and spiking to 13 and i want to run more cause it's just not enough for me right now, please.

man, the way i write on here sounds noobish a lot, but i've read A LOT of different posts on here and various other sites. actually, this is what i do all day at work, i cant make it through the day without my dsmtuners or talk now. i dunno, just a little rant i thought you all would like to hear

after installing a crushed 1g bov, you can go over 20psi...

id say get a bigger turbo to easily reach that goal. and an aftermarket manifold, but port that o2 housing and make sure you got that large exhaust

after reading your wishlist, get that front mount intercooler! :D

I'm going for 400whp and looking at other DSM's at the shop who are hitting that goal here is what you NEED to get it done. Keep in mind that there is more stuff that you should do, but this will get you there from what I've seen. Obviously other combonations of parts will work, but this is a common setup that gets it everytime.

Evo III Big 16G
FMIC and UIC piping
BOV
Evo III manifold and O2 housing
3" exhaust
Boost Controller & Gauge
Apexi SAFC II
K&N filter & Intake pipe
Fuel Pump (190 or better)
Bigger injectors (at least 550cc)
Fuel rail & Adjustable fuel pressure regulator

I might be missing something, but this combo along with about 2 hours of dyno time should get you there. Mine is not tuned and I don't have the bottom 2 things on the list done yet and I'm over 300 right now. Again, there are a million different combonations that can get you there and this is just one of them, but its a common one that I've seen so I thought I would share. Good Luck!

Just to clarify, add a BOV does not mean your car can handle 20 psi.
If you perform the "Hi Boost" Mod on www.dsmloggers.com Then your 1G BOV is capable of holding 20+ psi without leaking.
