Ok, Im not a racer. I dont race on streets or anything like that. I am fixing up my car and would like to increase the my acceleration over my top end because i feel the acceleration more then i do top end. I am trying to figure out which set up i should go with to acheive this. My hp goal is 300. Should i go t28,big t28 or evo3 16g? Check out my mod list and tell me what set up you think i should with or any sorta opinion would be great!

Thanks! :thumb: :talon:

Go T28/bigT28 if you want to avoid doing any installation work- both will bolt right up. However for about the same price as one of those, the EVO3 turbo is more efficiant and flows more. The price of the EVO3 turbo+install kit should be around the cost of a T28, maybe a little more. It will require a bit of work installing it (2 hours tops) but it is well worth it.

+1 vote for EVO3.

I'd go with the evoIII also.

To add to the list you will want:

FMIC
Injectors
Pump
AFC
Downpipe
Possibly upgrade to a 3inch exhaust all the way back.
Boost controller

L2R i am not trying to take a shot at you but isn't it more efective to open it up from the muffler first then work your way to the turbo than from the turbo to the muffler. i was told this when i was getting my exhaust so i got a cat back and test pipe, then a downpipe and tubular o2 housing

Hands down, no questions asked; Big T-28. Both are going to need the same upgrades, they both cost the same, installing a turbo is still work, so it comes down to this; Spool up at 2800 RPMS or 10 more horse power up top. I don't race either.

Evo 3 16g is capable of alot more than any T-28. There are alot of evo 3 16g equipped cars running 11's...how many on the T-28...1.

Go with the Evo 3 16g and you won't be dissapointed :thumb:

Either way you are going to run into restirctions some where, if possible do it all at once.

I have never felt the difference between the 2, i guess someone is going to have to take me for a little drive in a evo3 equipped car and then in a bT28 equipped car. :D Like i said before, im not a racer and i am not looking to have the 10 second car. I just want to be able to put a hurtin on someone if the situation calls for it! :thumb: :talon:

I have the FP Bigt-28 and i love it. Fast spool, boost hits you like a punch in the face and it will get you where you want. But I would go with the Evo3 if i could do it all again. It will give you what you want and more in the future if you ask it too. :thumb:

My votes for the Evo3
