I pulled all the charcoal cannister crap, battery tray and bracket and removed the fuel filter and its bracket that holds it. That hose i am sure runs to the intake for the charcoal cannister.

Look at the pic on post 5. Thats what it looked like when i removed everything.

That would make sense because the hose on the intake is capped off.
What all would I have to do to remove the charcoal canister? Any good posts on it that you recommend? I'll get started on the rear mount for right now

Well when i removed the cannister, i pulled 1 vacuum line at a time taking note of the routing. There is also a bracket that holds it up so you would have to remove that also. I dEcided not to put it back in though as all the hoses and such were dry rotted to hell. I just left the gas tank vent open inside the engine bay. If you plan on keeping it especially for emissions, make sure to replace all the vacuum lines with new hose and correctly route the lines. Meanwhile while you are down there it would be a good idea to change out the fuel filter if its old.

I'll be deleting the evap system when I get a tune so I can bypass the codes, and i need an egr block off plate. For now, what is the easier way to go about removing the battery tray and charcoal canister? I can't get to the left bolt on the battery support, don't see how I can remove one without having the other removed

I took out the one on the right first and then loosed up the other enough that I could rotate the support bracket to get in there easier.
