I have done a motor swap from a 1999 to a 1997 eclipse 2.0 and the heater hose messed up, started leaking antifreeze and over heated but not bad an not for long before I pulled off.

I got the hose fixed but the car is still sputtering and last time I took the car out it had like 2 or 3 loud pops under it then it started sputtering and died in the road. Got it started back but kept sputtering until I turned it off.

Note when I turn the A/C on after a little bit it also made the car turn off and the oil light come on.

If you don't have a fuel pressure gauge you can normally rent them from auto parts stores. There is a test fitting on the end of the fuel rail towards the passenger side of the vehicle. Let it sit for a day or however long you're able to and check the pressure, and also check it while cranking. You may need a friend or to set up a camera for that. If you don't have any leaks and the fuel pump is healthy, it should be able to hold pressure for a number of weeks or even months. Normally a failing fuel pump will back drain and lose pressure quickly. It's been a while since I dealt with a stock pump but you should be seeing at least 40psi. Anything lower may indicate a failing pump or leaky lines.

Also another easier check is to turn the switch from "OFF" to "ACC" a few times, leaving it at "ACC" for a second or so each time. That will prime the fuel pump and restore fuel pressure, allowing an easier start if the pressure were draining/leaking.
