Hey everyone. I’ve been having a problem for awhile now. So I swapped my motor after it being down for a year with no motor in the bay.

Before when I lost compression, the car started on a dime and now it doesn’t make any noise besides the pump kicking on when I turn the key. No starter noise, no clicking, nothing. Starter was tested and I swapped a different ecu to see if that went bad, and still the same results. Dash lights up as normal.

I’ve taken the car to a friend who owns a shop and says all the resisters and fuses are good. I’m missing something a I’m pulling what’s left of my hair out! Please help

Check that the signal wire is on the starter, the small spade terminal. If that checks out, jumper that terminal to the starter HOT battery cable, that should most definately spin the starter. If that works but the key doesn't, you have a break in the signal wire from the ignition to the starter.
Hopefully you just forgot to hook that wire up.
