hey guys. i got my 1990 eclipse non-turbo, 1.8ltr sohc last year. when i got it it wasn't in very good condition. after replacing the lifts in the back that hold up the hatch, getting a paint job, and an all around tune up of the engine, i have time now to tweak it. problem is, i'm young and i'm not sure where to start. i know that i'm limited with the setup, but i hear that you can do some good things with it. i apologize if someone already asked a question like this, but i couldn't find it anywhere in any previous threads. so, if any of you veteran tuners give me some advice i'll be much in your debt. thanks.

well as far as tweaking on the engine, if the engine is stock and you wanna free up some hp your gonna have to do an intake and exhaust system if not done yet, just get a good header, catalytic converter, and 2 1/2 inch piping from the cat back, just to help the car breathe a little better. im not to sure of what you can do to the 1.8l but im sure there are some other options for it you just gotta start searchin around, maybe cams, cam gears, some pulleys, plugs and wires stuff of that sort would help the car out. hope i was some help to ya....goodluck
