need a new turbo

well my stock turbo is leaking oil and i need a new one, so i decided to get a better one.
i was wondering how much would a big 16g turbo cost and what mods is need to support the turbo?

also how much would all of that cost me?

well i just want a direct bolt on turbo and something simple since i dont got that much money to spend.

install kit-200(you really only need a oil feed line, turbo/manifold gasket and j pipe from a 1g or $70 for a j pipe from fp or roadrace.

with fuel you will be able to run around 16psi, if you don't have a datalogger get one before you install the 16g.
with a fmic or at least a upgraded smic you'll be able to boost 19-20 on pump gas

If you have no idea where to get a b16g or how much they cost, then you should probably not be buying one. And if you dont know what supporting mods you need and you are low on funds, then you will probably be better off with stock. Stock is the cheapest and easiest bolt-on.

Search to learn about your car....... then upgrade.

thanks for the help guys. i just started to read up on some stuff and i will be getting the evo III turbo with supporting mods and my brother will be helping me pay for all this. will be ordering a evo III turbo off slowboy racing for 569+shipping and getting the supports mod at road race.

This info is very availble with a little looking around. Just clicking on the vendors posts or the classifieds will give you an idea of what kind of a price you are looking at.

See the established tuning guidlines for an idea of what you will need to run an upgraded turbo safely or even just page through the forums. It is a very common question.
