Can i put 2g cas on a 1g. I have a blacktop with no harness at cas! Wires go directly into cas

If your car is a 1990, you need a 1990 CAS. You CAN put a 91-94 CAS on it but would need the 91-94 harness as well

Sheridan Engineering does offer a conversion harness for us '90 folks to use a '91-'94 CAS.

$75 for that harness?!?!? $5 for the pigtail from a junkyard and a few minutes of soldering is all it takes

Oh, I don't disagree. Personally.

But it beats swapping over a whole engine harness.

Some people aren't comfortable doing wiring, so just letting people know that there is an option out there that is plug and play.

I was able to get a new 1990 CAS from RockAuto for my car a couple years ago. Pricey, but well worth saving myself from any headaches lying in the oil drenched wiring with 30 years and 330k+ miles.

If it has wires coming out if it, it's either broken or it isn't a blacktop. 90 greentop is like that, wires coming out as discussed.
