i wanted to see if anyone could help me out, i wanted to put n2o in my car 1998 eclipse rs has 123000 miles should i compression test and more? give me some suggestions

You should always do a compression test to have a general idea of the health of your engine. Do one first, then come back with the results.

A compression test is always a GREAT idea, not necessary, but a very good idea. I never did a compression test on my car when I decided to add nitrous, but I would recommend it. I put in a new h.g., cams, valve train parts, and looked over things when I did the cams. I personally felt everything was in good enough shape to go for it and not worry about the test.

Well, sure... that's fine if you have an intimate knowledge of the condition of your engine's components; but for the rest of us who don't want to take everything apart just for an inspection, a compression test is the best choice.
