I was looking in my engine today because my car has been acting up(idle surges like crazy and dies sometimes). I ran across this wire(right next to altenator) and this plug(by the exhaust manifold). Does anyone know what they connect to or if they need to be connected. I just had a mechanic fix a trashed bearing in my balance shaft(removed front shaft and left in rear) so i'm thinking he didnt plug these back in.

Also, my car now makes a clinging sound when i'm moving now but not when my car is just idling. I know the guy didnt buy an bs eliminator kit for my car when he removed the front bs and he left the rear shaft in. Could this be where that clinging noise is coming from?

so is it bad that ive been driving with them unplugged? this couldnt effect the messed up idle?

no alternator means, im guessing no power, or no power to xyz componet, (isc maybe?) and power steering means turning your wheels when your stopped would be almost impossible without putting some major force into it
