my jdm pistons say 63TR

I just took my Jdm swap apart and saw that the piston say 63TR. Any one know about them. The motor I have is the Tuned by AMG engine from a Galant.

does anyone have a pic of of a 2g piston I would like to see the difference between it and my k's and R's. btw is there anything special about the k's?

To answer your question, no Big16g just the good ol' 14b and no switchable tranny either unortunately. Odd compression though. I've ran sea-foam through it on a number of occassions and still no change.

I know this is an older thread, but digging threw my "older" dsm days, I found a set of pistons with the R notation (63DTR). I read that the oil wiper ring lands are different (see link below). Does anyone know where to get rings for these? Or if the ring lands are even shallower? Does anyone have a standard 1g piston to mic the ring land depths?
