Well we are about done with his kit. All he has left is to finish welding his downpipe and measure, cut and weld his fmic piping. This kit is AMAZING. I would almost trade my star kit for it. Heres some of the details and I'll post up pics later.
Gt28 r or gt28rs(cant remember) dual ball bearing turbo
SFMU on a custom bracket mounted where his battery was (battery is moved to the trunk)
1g dsm injectors with a resistor pack from an old honda
Walbro 255
turbo is plumed for oil and water using stainless lines for all except the oil feed line.
oil feed line is stainless steel solid tubing that he has bent all around that fits perfectly (my favorite, beautiful)
vband flanges on the turbo and downpipe
3 inch downpipe
2.5 or 2.75 inch piping for intercooler
fmic is 2.75 inch endtanks
He has removed his ac and pwr steering stuff all of it including the hardlines
pretty much gutted interior except it still has a pass seat
It wont be finished for 2 weeks as we are waiting for his compressor side flanges to get here from ATP (they came out with bigger new ones and he sent the other ones back for an even trade)
I know i'm forgetting stuff but like i said i'll post pics soon

a few pics

Would there have been clearance on that massive dp if he still had the p/s there?

Nope, well at least I dont think so, but he doesnt plan on putting that stuff back on there anyway. But yeah I'm pretty sure you couldnt put the ps/ac stuff back in once its done and on there. Most downpipes go straight down off of the turbo, he wanted his to come out a little first to improve flow. He had to bend the dipstick out of the way so there would be room for the dp if thats any clue.

I believe the downpipe is finished or only lacking the flange to bolt up to the testpipe/cat and possibly finish up the welds on it as he was just tacking it as he went to be sure it fit properly then weld it all nice when he got it all done. All he has left now i believe is ic piping and then waiting for atp to send him his new compressor side flanges. I have lots more pics but the site gave me a too many pics message when i was trying to post them before.

Edit: I'm going back over there after work today so I'll take some more pics of the downpipe as it is now. I believe he is going to eventually chop where it bolts to the testpipe/cat and put a vband flange and clamp there so he can take off his downpipe easily.

kinda off topic but i noticed thet your timing belt cover is not on. is that ok? my motor is apart right now and i would like to put adjustable cam gears on it without that cover. will it still be ok?

Its actually my friends car but I'd say yes you'd be fine without the cover. I know a few people who dont have theirs on. Just dont stick anything in there LOL.

Yea let me know about that clearance...wow the dipstick had to be bent out of the way - not much room huh? LOL!

The other day i was locked out of my house - and waiting to be let in i decided to take a look under the hood and just imagine my custom kit already installed LOL....I was looking at it and i'm wondering how the heck the dp is going to fit in there - we'll see WTF

Well I'll type

Timing belts :
ARE NOT SUPPOSE TO GET ANY FORUM OF LIQUD ON IT.
ETC.
oil
water
...get the picture? It's not good for it at all..if ya wanna be able to get to the adjustable cams...cut the top half of the timing cover off if your running a 420a that is...on the 4g63/t motors you can just take the top half off...4 bolts and it's off..

just fyi....
I love the vavle cover btw...it's hott. Keep up the good work! (tell your friend that..LOL)

[Hijacking of thread in progress]

Snoop how'd you do that? How much was parts/how much time did it take?

What if it rains? :D

$8 for Fine Metal SawsAll Blade :thumb: I've got weather stripping on and I'm working on making the top fit back on. For now I got a nice blue tarp bungeed over it

I was wondering about that V-Clamp (I think thats what its called) on the downpipe. How good do those work. I've heard they leak after time. I've been debating making a 3" down pipe for my kit and using one of those clamps.

looks pretty good..not sure how u have the sfmu hooked(can't really tell by the pic)but it looks kinda odd to me like the sfmu is hooked up to the fuel feed line.

Hey guys, thanks for the comments (this is my car in these pictures).

My timing belt cover is off to make maintenance easier, and to monitor my timing belt. It's coated with a special belt conditioner every 6k miles to resist fluids. Does it have to be changed more frequently? Of course. Do I need to worry about anything getting caught in it? Not unless you put it there. Do I recommend doing this? No. Don't remove the cover unless you understand what you're doing.

'95's have a hard -4 return line under the hood. My sfmu is inline w/ the rail's return and the return to the tank. Fuel system was tested before I proceeded to throw the turbo on, everything running great.

More pics will be up soon!

Like my boy said ^^. He didnt mention his v-clamp. From what I can tell it will work awesome. Just putting the clamp on and finger tightening it while making the downpipe you couldnt get the pipe to move at all. He plans to chop the flange on his testpipe/catback eventually and replace it with one of these so he can take out his downpipe quickly and easily if he needs to.
