buscher stageIII head
hks272 cams and gears
magnus street manifold
fp exhaust manifold
fmic
dsm link

turbo

rc 880cc injectors
wally 255
fuel pressure reg.

clutch
act 2600 6 puck
act street light flywheel

thats all I got for now. exhaust will come soon as well as suspension and guages. I would like to run 20 psi. for race and 10 daily. also run e85. any advise would be good.;)

WOW.. nice set up.. thought about switching to the FP green myself.. my only suggestion is to take it slow, an expect hickups along the way cause when i started modding mine alot at once it took me longer to fix the little problems that came along the way then it did changing everything out... just make sure all your maintenance is up to date an everything is good with your car before throwing go fast parts it or you will just cause more problems

but i will say this man.... congrats on the new dsm set up it sounds like its gonna be a beauty, best of luck an keep us updated

thanks for the input. I went with 880s because I am not running that much boost. The bottom end is stock. I dont know how much boost they can take but I would like my numbers to be around 400 hp and 350 torque.

You are running e85 though, which is not as efficient of a fuel, generally you want your injectors to be at least 20% larger than what you would normally go with for a fuel tune. You can always tune down the injectors, but once you max them, that's it.

See if you can get at least 1000s if not 1100s.

if you are looking for 400 hp you are definitly on the right track, if not a bit overkilled with a good tune. Keep us posted how everythinng goes.

First of all, 10psi is nothing. You can probably run 15-17 on a stock bottom end with ## set-up and a decent tune and be fine.

If you going to race and running E85, your injectors are very small, so just run race gas and you can probably push 25psi or more with about 400whp.

I dont think a stage 3 head is necessary until you build a bottom end but its your money.

how are you planning to run the external wastegate? The FP manifolds dont have a provision for bolting it on so you will have to purchase the correct 02 housing that will bolt on but have a provision for the external wastegate.

Also a really nice upgrade is poly motor and tranny mounts. I have a 2g and when i hit 2nd hard it bucks 2 or 3 times and then goes.

Oh and you need a wideband...for 189 bucks its the best money spent.
You can at least get your fuel ratios good. 11.5:1 is ideal for power..but some like it slightly richer...some like it slightly leaner.

Good luck!

Sounds all good, but I'd run more than 10 psi on daily. 10 psi on that turbo ain't going to be near the efficiency range. Good luck with the build and start with maintenance! ;)

bigger injectors especially if you want e85. I ran 26psi on my PTE 57 trim on a stock block with 30k on it. It's rebuilt now and i still ran 26 on it. No problems at all. I blew the turbo and that was my problem for running it to hard one night. You'd be set to run any amount with a good, healthy bottom end. I had ARP bolts throughout though. Just some insight

ok I am going to take back my 880s and get 1000, thanks for the info. Right now most of the parts are laying on my bedroom floor. the head and manifolds are on and thats all I got right now. What o2 housing do i need? i got the external gate on the turbo. so where do i go from there.

well i have a vband downpipe thread going and alot of people like that instead of using a o2 housing.

thansk man, is dsm link ok to tune on or do i also need aem or something like it?

For about a second I thought you weren't a n00b....

OF COARSE DSMLINK is alright! Its what we all dream of using.

Which version did you buy?

well I have seen a lot of people use dsm link and aem ems so I was confused. I get the v3 the newest version. I cant wait until I start messing with it. I have been on their site and looking at all the possibilities that come with it.

I'd still get bigger injectors if I were you but 1000's will be okay especially at 20psi

I'm running an FP Green at 25psi and I'm seeing 85% IDC, which is about the max people say you want to run your injectors at. I'm running 1150cc's. I'm going to push them though and bump up fuel pressure and go up to 28psi in my goal for 500whp.

The FP Green is a good turbo, but I hope you're not buying it new. If you are, save money and go with a Holset. $1200+ is just way to much for the Green's capabilities with such cheaper options out there. It's still a great turbo though, great spool and great flow. I just wouldn't pay the price they're still asking for it new in this day and age.
