first dsm build question

I have always been a v8 guy and I have decided o sell all my v8 stuff and start building a dsm. I have had plenty of 9 and 10 second f-bodys. Im buying a 1g talon or eclipse, and im looking to either buy or build a mid 9 second "street car" (full interior, yet 4 slicks, etc.) Any ball-park range on what im looking to spend on buying and building.

To build a 9 sec car haha is fun, but not that hard as it seems with awd with these little guys they will take you there with somewhat ease if done right.There is a few people who run 10 sec on a hta68 turbo wich is like a evo3 16g on crack.So a few grand you can get yourself into 10's but this is on race gas or E85-98.Anything after that well maybe a gt42r and lots of fuel/support as you probably know.Glad to see you joined the 4 banger krew you will be suprized what these things can do as did I when I first started checking them out.But they sure do love there maintanance or they get fiesty, but thats more of a daily driver car issue not sure you will be hittin the streets in a 9 sec car but power to you if you do. None the less nothing changes as you do on your mustangs built motor first and then as big turbo as your pocket can hold with support fuel and just build suspention is all there really is to it.I personally prefere aem tuning software if your going to make a drag car but that's all my 2 cents to the game feel free to post a build diary if you decide to build one but I am sure if you look in the classifieds if you wanna buy one but you won't get that feeling of accomplishment and knowing of the car what it needs and what can you do to make it faster if you don't do it yourself.
