My CD player stopped working and so did a bunch of other interior things!! HELP

I checked all fuses in the interior and the engine bay.. is there another place?



i was hard wiring my radar and was running a positive from the cigarette lighter and i touched a metal piece and sparked and bam thats when it happend... so i checked the fuses and nothing... so im just stumped.. is there something that i dont know about that can be reset?



when i stick my key in the iginition, nothing. when i turn it to accessory, nothing.. but when i turn all the way just before the start my dash lights come on.. but no CD player and no rear view mirror lights, or door beeping when its open..



any ideas?

You say you checked all the fuses... Now there are relays and other types of fuses. The block fuses that you really cant check [ under the hood] not the regulat maxi fuses. There mainly for ignition and mostly higher amp. I work on cars stereos tv's alarms for 8 years. What are you testing them with>? Do you have volt meter or a "Test light" or just looking at them>?

you mean the ones with the black covers? can i break them apart and check them?

or test them with a light? ill try that tomorrow

but i couldnt have major blown a piece of hardware could i? wouldnt a fuse go first?

Check you Alternator Fuse. Same thing happened to me, the fuse was bad and many things went wrong. Windows wouldn't operate, cd player wouldn't turn on, dim lights, etc..
