Picked it up Saturday morning from English Racing and watched it hit 642 AWHP!!! I'll post the video and some pictures up tonight...

Hey man I just got tuned on lukes dyno the other day.I saw your car he was actually messing with it on the way to the dyno.It's clean as hell and I started asking about it and he showed me under your hood.....HOLY SHIT DUDE LOL sickkkkkk.I only made 258hp and 280tq LOL.How much money have you got into that motor.Anyways awsome car
 
Yeah, that ones mine only it's a '97 and it's not 272's tho... doesn't matter, it's fun as hell...

That's a work of art right there.

Just wondering, many people run those tubular exhaust manifolds, do you run into any heat issues?

How about stock 1G/2G exhaust manifolds with the heat shields taken off?

Sorry for the thread jack, just wondering. :)
 
I had a tubular exhaust manifold at one point. It was made by pacesetter, and it began to crank. There were two reasons I believe, one being the weight of the turbo downpipe on the manifold while it was being heated, and of course support issue with that type of manifold.

I have the forced performance manifold now and its the best i have had. You can get a heatshield. they are really nice ceramic coated.

Another note, when i got my heatshield and boxed off my intake, it made a huge differnce.
 
The manifold is just temporary. It does seem to run hot though, I might add another fan in there for now to help cool it some more for now.
 
more boost more boost more boost LOL.....J/k very nice numbers kinda reminds me of someone else's setup that I know LOL.....I havent pushed mine past 25psi yet....maybe this weekend we will see how she likes 30 ish:) Good luck man now get out and put that twin disc to work on the track!!!!!
 
Sick car and sick power. God I can't wait till mine is right up there with you. Hopefully I'm done in less than a year. :[
 
I would say we built the whole car. From motor to transmission tuning, wiring, fabrication.

I have a FP race manifold and I get 145* on intake temp via DSMlink..

I need to find out how to get that down.
