Hey,

I got my car back a few days ago from Slowboy Racing. They had it for a couple weeks doing some work to it.

When I first called SBR a little over a month ago I talked to Mark and he has been more then helpful answering all my questions and helping me choose what mods to get for the goals I had. Even before SBR had my car, I asked a whole bunch of questions and Mark was on top of it and answered every single one of my questions and was very polite and nice.

I had a nice list of mods I wanted to get done by SBR and had my install date.
Dropped the car off at SBR...met some of the people who worked there and they all are very nice and professional. Mark showed me my turbo and other mods they were going to install and of course answered all my questions again.

A couple weeks later...my car was finally done! Mark kept me updated with the work on my car and told me how everything was going. I went to pick it up. Mark and everyone else there was helpful and very nice. Saw my car and it looked awesome but the main thing was how did it drive and how much power did it have. I took it for a little spin and wow! The car is so smooth and extremely fast. It was exactly what I wanted! Mark showed me the dyno of it...318hp with the MBC set at 19-20psi. The car hauls...it has mad top end power! And best of all...its so smooth.

I met Mike for a couple minutes, he asked me how I liked the car and I told him it was awesome and 10x better then I thought it would be and it def is! The car is just insane...I'm so happy I had SBR do the work to it. They did an amazing job with the car and everything turned out awesome. SBR has my business for life! Mark and everyone else there are some of the best in the business and I couldnt imagine myself going anywhere else. Some of the best customer service, awesome work, and great prices-what else could you ask for. If you ever need to get anything done to your dsm...SBR should be on top of the list....Thats how happy I am with them.

Anyways heres some of the actual speed mods they did:
SBR Td05h 20g
Comp Cams 101200
AEM Cam Gears
02 w/dump
SBR FMIC
AFC II
650s
Walbro 255
GM MAF w/1g Translator
ACT 2600 + ACT Flywheel
BM LSD
They also installed KYB GR2 shocks and Eibach Springs
And dyno-tuned it

They did a bunch of other stuff too but above is the main speed mods and they did an amazing job installing and tuning everything.

Future mods for me...better brakes and a little bit later prob a bigger turbo
Again...Thanks SBR for all the help and the great work!

Now...what everyones really been waiting for...LOL....Pics

Very nice! I'm glad that you chose SBR, they have a great reputation for doing well with dsms. Everything looks great - SBR did a great job on that install. Glad you like your new setup, and congrats. :)

PS - that front mount is HUGE OMG

Your FMIC is like a Double-Gullp!!! It looks very intimidating, like someone grinning mischievously :D :thumb:

i was planning on getting a TD05H 20G too. A few question is your clipped? Also when do u reach max boost?

Its ported but not clipped.....I havent really checked to see when it hits 19-20 psi...but when I go out tonight in a couple hours...I'll make sure to test it out and ill post here so you know.

Its really a nice turbo and would def reccomend it....i'll post later on when it hits max boost

By the way...thanks for all the comments! :dsm:

cool i wasnt planning on clipping it too. Also how much did it cost you i dont want to get ripped off if i order it from SBR (not saying they would but it is also good to know) :D

I think on their site it has the price...it was $850-900 I think. Should be on their site though. www.slowboyracing.com

Core seems to be overkill for a relatively small turbo. If you had an FP Red I could see that......

For this turbo...yea...but like I said later on I will be getting a bigger turbo anyways

gosh i hate the whole entrance to that parking lot in lodi...............either way you try to get in, there is a dumb canyon.......i can definately see where a fmic would get stuck at.......
my car which is stock height always scrapes right there and i have a stock suspension...
Defiant, do you frequent that shopping center a lot?

I personally think the bumper looks like crap, but other than that nice car. Get some times and report back.

Well the bottom of the bumper had to be cut. The person who I bought the car from must have cracked the front bumper or something and had it replaced. But...it was replaced with a N/T bumper...so they had to cut the buttom part for the I/C to fit.
I cut the top part of it...where the license plate bracket would be just because I wanted to

I think it looks great. Although, i think it would look cleaner if the bumper was cut just so the core shows and not the endtanks it would look better. But, either way it looks nice.

The car looks very nice, but I would be VERY paranoid with MY FMIC being that exposed.

I would end up running it into something

Did they give you a dyno chart? I would like to see what the cams did for your 5H 20G.

seriously what happened to the bumper? Other then that that thing is sick man nice work. So what we all want to know... How does it perform?

nice but the logo on the intercooler is crooked

Actually no its not.. Look at the very last pic.. It shows the SB logo perfect with the bars of the core.. get your eyes checked man.. Ur just jealous of the car. relax :p

I also see NO AFPR.

Get one and set your pressure right and maybe your car might run even smoother than it does.

1990greenGSX: I take it you are partial. ;)
