ok guys I finally got to be able to post here I have some questions and would like some advice, I will be posting pics of my current stuff as soon as I can.
so far: 1997 auto GST, full 3" turbo back exhaust, full race manifold, t67 garrett, vband tial wastegate, punishment racing dump<-- which im leary of, hks vpc gcc setup. For the engine I just built and have to rebuild and do it big I have a 4g64 crank I raped my 98 galant for arp main and head studs and a cometic hg, my engine is a 99 7bolt doesnt have the crankwalk issues and if you have ever seen the 95-98 block and 99 block they are different where the thrust washer is and so is the washer and girdle. im planning on running an ipt trans with eagletalontims shift box and im going to wire the upshifts and downshifts to my horn buttons, wiseco 9:1's eagle rods bc280cams with hardware, 750-1000cc injectors walbro pump and aeromtive reg and filter. The car is going to be a daily driver that i'll take on road trip etc I know the turbo is huge but 9:1 will make up for drivability. Im not sure what clearance has to be made on 2.3 7bolts and what different things I might wanna do any positive advice would be great. have had several built imports not new to building my cars so please dont start with the noob hazing. thanks guys. btw i'd leave the trans shifting alone but my tcu is stuck in limp mode so im gonna have to do the box plus the upshift on the right of the steering wheel and downshifts on the left and it'll look stock will be pretty sweet and im pretty sure it hasn't been done.
