So my problem with my battery is it drains when my car is off, it’s a new battery and alternator and starter. So every time I turn my car off I have to disconnect the negative terminal or else it will drain. I don’t know what else to check and on top of that I can’t even get my battery or alternator tested because it gives a bad connection to the device Autozone uses, so i’m at a dead end.

And my other problem is my temperature gauge says my car is overheating when it’s not. I can see my actual temperature with my scanner and it’s no where near overheating temperatures. I replaced my coolant sensors thinking that will fix it but now it stays stable for around 25 minutes and then fluctuates when i hit boost. It goes down and then up which is weird so I don’t know what to believe anymore.

If anyone has any advice that would be really helpful.

I would start with checking the wiring from the coolant sensor to the dash. Maybe every time your motor rocks it pulls the wire or connector.

Search the site for parastatic draw and it will pull up threads on how to diagnose the issue to pin point you into the correct starting location for the battery drain.

Also your BOV is not recirculated which is not recommended by most. There is a bolt missing on the VC too if you didn’t know.
