My 96 gsx i just bought and my plans.... please give me some input

Hey guys i'm pretty new to DSM's i had an 95 ESI talon for about a year and a half (tho many people don't consider that a real dsm !) I just bought a red 96 gsx for 5k 2weeks ago. It has 71,500 miles on it and it came with very minor upgrades including...

-Injen Intake
-Greddy Profec B boost controller
-A'pexi super AFC
-Greddy Type S blow-off valve
-N1 turbo back exhaust 3"
-Stock turbo (i believe)

everything else is completely stock it even has the factory cd player in it still and it still works fine! The car is super clean and i think i got a hell of a steal on it. I want to mod it to get respectable power and speed but nothing too crazy as it will be my daily driver. I like to keep things very simple and clean

Now my plans for my new baby are:

- EVO 3 big 16g turbo
-walbro lph 255 fuel pump
-660cc injectors (is that too much let me know if thats fine or i need to go lower)
-Forced Performance racing Manifold
-Eibach Lowering springs
-18" enikei Evo 5 Wheels powder coated black with red trim
-B&M short shift kit/w sparco universal shift knob

I want to run between 17-19 psi i'm not sure yet i'm leaning on 18psi i want to know what you guys think about what i'm going for and about how much hp to the wheels do you think i'd be pushing with this setup??? Thanks in advance guys!! DSM's FTW!!!!

With this setup and a good tune you should be pushing around 300 hp to the wheels. You'll also need an adjustable fuel pressure regulator to keep the wally 255 in check. 660cc injectors will be fine but what are your goals for the car? Thanks guys 300whp was about what i was going for... something not super fast but still respectable.. kill a few hondas and GT's once in a while but whats a good site for the fuel pressure regulator that i can get them for a good price??? Oh and i was gonna get it tuned at Ptuning in Manassas near where i live.

I'm gonna post pics this weekend.... been really busy with all the holiday stuff.... i'm gonna post all pics of it now... and when i'm done building my set up i'll take pics and post those as well... i plan on being done sometime in august.... i know thats a long time but i'm not a millionaire so i have the buy the parts when i can and get them installed when i can and with a good tune she'll be ready stomp these mean streets of VA!!

Get a 190lph pump, it'll be more than enough.

The fuel regulators on this site are for 25-90psi applications... can i still use it even tho i'll only be running bout 20psi????

Just get a 190LPH pump, you won't need a regulator. The FPR controls FUEL pressure, not BOOST pressure.

Those are some good upgrades you have there. However, be sure to do all routine maintenance, timing belt, serpentine belt, gaskets, etc.

Do mainteance first especially if you dont know whats done to it, plus these cars are easy to work on. Timing belt, in my case its a must, i like to make sure, especially before i start adding mods to it, learning i have to come back and spend more money for something that should have b een done before i got all excited and modding, and boosting.

Thanks for all the input guys you guys have all been really helpful... but to reply to iugrad92turbo... i was gonna get a tune up replace the spark plugs air filter and wires and the timing belt and all that good stuff. but i didn't really think about replacing the gaskets tho... which is ###### a good idea even tho the car is in great shape. Wouldn't hurt. I don't want it to break as soon as i start modding so i'll def. do all the lil maintence stuff first... i'll ###### get like my rims and glow gauges and cosmetic stuff first before i start on bolting on the upgrades.... once again thanks guys and those pics will be up this weekend... so check back and let me know what you think.

Base fuel pressure is 43.5, not 20. Then it goes up with boost, 18 psi of boost would raise the fuel pressure 18 psi, so 43.5+18=61.5. You just set the base pressure, possibly some fine tuning as well, then leave it alone (just check it once in a while).
