First, learn how to type, spell, and use punctuation. That way, when you give us the specifics of the car in a legible and orderly fasion we can help you more efficiently. Along with the year (which you have already stated) you will want to include the mileage, whether it is running or not, some vehicle history, what your experience with cars is, and what your budget is.

After all this, we can help you achieve your goals and dreams in an orderly fashion.

Go do some homework and come back soon.:rocks:

for one it has a clear title. miles that are one it,i have know idea. the body is ok to fix. it was runing when the guy i got it from got it he took the motor and tranny out and was going to bulid it for a sec car, but he got borad of looking at it and decide to give it to me. he said that he has everthing to it but a wiring harnes and a front bumper. he has a motor and trans but didnt come out of that car. my experience with cars, i grow up in one form of raceing, drad racing, dirt track racing, pave ovel the list goes on. so i prety much was born in a race car. as body work ive been to school for it so i can do that also. hell i have my on shop, now the budget is going to be out of my on pockit, not the shops pockit.its going to be my own car.as far as the spelling, not really good at it ,so, it will be nice if you would back off of it...think you

Lol, I have a feeling you mispelled every word on purpose. Anyway, it kinda depends on what you want man. Will you be using it as a daily driver? Do you have the money to afford all the racing parts? What do you like more, show or speed? You should also look at the car itself, do you like convertibles or hard tops?
If you DO like it and just want an opinion, Id say go for it if you have the money, whether it be show or speed, its your car. All DSMs are great cars IMO thats why I own a turbo and a non-turbo. Whatever you do though, dont start a project and not finish it. If you are having doubts you should write down what you want to do with each route, speed and show, and determine the cost/time/effort it will take. The worst thing you could do is start a project on a perfectly good car, and then never finish it and end up parting it out for less than half of what its worth. Also, you asked about race or show, why not just do both? Show isnt necessarily bodykits and rims anymore youll have to do some kind of engine upgrade to get proper respect anyways.

A "showy" DSM to me is a clean 2gb, lowered, with some nice alloy 5 or 6 spokes. Clear corners too. Other than that, nothing else needed. The rest is up to you but I'd recommend going for speed because it's relatively easy, usually frusterating and there are great places to get help for DSMs. You've already found the best so you're off to a good start. Keep us posted on your decision.
