My 95 GST Skips Help Fast!!!!

I have a 1995 Mitsubishi eclipse and its giving me a small problem. It will drive fine until it needs power going up a hill or you just want to give it some more power, and then it starts to skip and it seems like it wants to die. But when i am just crusing down the road and not giving it a lot of power it drives just fine. I can not notice a skip when it is idling or when you barely give it gas, only when it needs power?
What could be wrong?

Definately check that out and use the search feature if you need something, since almost 99% of the questions have been answered. After boost leak test check your plugs/wires, if you still haven't gotten anywhere after those two pm me and we'll figure it out

So, it sounds like your issue arisses when you begin to build boost.

Describe this "skip" that you speak of.

Are you familiar with fuel cut?

when it skips it kinda seems like it wants to die and it loses power

I just updated my mods with all that i could think of. im new to all of this, and its my friend who has been helping me with my car and knows all about the parts and everything and im just helping so im still learning everything

I did a boost leak test and i found 2 leaks, one on the piping to the intercooler, and a big leak on the flange on the blow off valve.

I put new NGK spark plugs in also.
I tried to drive the car yesterday, thinking it was fixed, and it still gave me the same problems.
I also tried my friends spark plug wires and it didnt help either.

What do i try next???????

i notcied that you dont have any fuel mods listed. if youre running a larger turbo with more than stock boost you will experience fuel cut. if you dont know what that is doo a search for it and read up on it. it will tell you what it is and how to fix it. but mainly you will either have to do fuel upgrades or turn down the boost. and def invest in a wideband with your mods list.

+1 for possible fuel cut. Does it happen once you reach a certain boost level (ie 10psi) or a certain RPM?

You should look into buying/building an MBC and a logger then look into upgrading your fuel system to support the larger turbo.

Since you fix the boost leak what does it boost. Check you timing marks.

It gets to about 5 psi of boost before its starts to skip and screw up, kinda like it is misfireing or something.
