95 GST need help

Ok so ive been doing some reading on a repair book i bought a auto store. so it said that my cam sensor should be on the passanger side of the intake cam. but when i looked in my car the cam sensor is the drivers side of the cam. I dont now if the book is right or wrong. someone told me to move the cam sensor to the passanger side. any help would be good.WTF o yea i have a 7 bolt. there is no swap.

All 2ga's ('95-'96) have their CAS in this place.

I like the chiltons manuals. They are accurate and have vacuum diagrams =) make sure you distinguish 2ga (95-96) parts from 2gb(97-99). They are different in a lot of cases.

so should i leave the cam sensor how it is or should i move it to the other side like the 1g cam sensor

The only advantage to moving it would be that you can adjust a 1g CAS.

If you already have it... Then why not wire it....its a nice way to tune your timing
