Need 95 GST engine

How you doing fellas? I'm not doing well if you guy's ask me. Had first SUV but gave up I just couldn't afford it. My sister gave me a 95 GST and I had it for 4 months so I could see my son and go to work everyday. The ENGINE gave up on me and it might cost me around $2500. Not making much but this is the only I could do maybe to fix the car to keep me going. Guy's, don't know anything about engine and don't know where i could find one for a lesser price. Leave in SKOKIE,IL. maybe at least tell me where I could find an engine. Don't know who to ask. PLEASE HELP....

Maybe theres someone body nearby selling their motor on ebay. That would be the first place to look for a new engine. Going to a junkyard is another possiblity. Final option would be the $2500.
