Ok guys i'm going to get a GST in the next 2 days and I wanted to ask some questions before I got it. I was planning on buying a Greddy Type S BOV for the car and I was wondering is there any way I can make it an Atmospheric venting BOV without any draw backs. Like engine running rich ect ect. Im not sure I dun know much about BOV's And these Are a few of the other things I'm buying also. if u have any tips for me please share :D

Hey whats up dude, ya can't realy vent to the atsmosphere with a stock mass air flow sensor, if you do, you will most likely end up with some bad driveability issues, like stalling in between gears, stuttering etc. The problem is the BOV vents back into the intake track after the MAFS, so that "blown off air" is already metered. If you want to run an open vent you are going to need to get a GM air sensor and a translator box for it to work. Don't wory though the BOV is plenty loud without venting anyway. I can still scare people standing on the side of the road and random defensless mustangs with it recirculated.:rocks:

Thanks for the tips man. I can't wait to get the car its going to be nice being able to mod it. I have a 1997 eclipse RS N/T ATM and its not cutting it LOL. So im trading in and paying diff for the GST.

I feel ya man, my first dsm was a 91 laser 4g63 N/T, they are nice and can be pretty quick but, for the money the best bet is going turbo'd The only replacement for displacement!

heh yes I remember my old RS, had to switch it up to turbo. But your first mod is BOV? well I sort of did the same LOL, I had a greddy type-s before, but beware they are a lot of problems. I got an NGR Type-S now and it 10x better and produces loud whistle recirculated, recommending them as their like the new greddy type-s improved, you can check out their vids:

Hmm then what would U suggest for first mods? The car already has cold air intake. It has duel exhaust so im going to have to get 3' put in I know that.
