Those push on spade terminals are not good for high current and I've seen quite a few burn up on fuel pumps and rad fans. Use a relay socket instead, and I like to put the relay behind the plastic panel on the drivers side to protect the wiring.

Or not, I dont like any of the sockets Ive seen or I should say the wires on the sockets. Running 14ga to 16ga and 16ga to 10ga doesnt make much sence. Ill just cut off the yellow plastic

Your build looks great! One thing I noticed when looking through the pictures was that the timing belt was not tensioned properly. The tensioner pulley is clocked the wrong way. The holes should be lined up at about 10 and 2 o'clock. Next, look at how far out the hydraulic tensioner pin is sticking up. With a new belt that has been properly tensioned you should be able to pull the pin and put it right back in. I would go back and fix that before running it. Everything else is looking good! Sucks about the shaft play though... Keep up the hard work.

Nice catch on the pully..thanks :ohdamn: the shaft play went away when I ran oil through the bearings guess its called floating the bearings. That timing belt had been nagging in the back of my mind

So after a week of reading NO START threads, I ended up pulling the starter to have it tested. The guy comes back and say "yeah man its good", "I say are you sure" hes "yay passed three times". I was hoping this was the problem :(

So me and a Friend Chris, break out the multimeter, pull the ECU, MPI relay somethings not testing right on the relay at this point the dash is almost pulled out. Come to find out one of the clutch pedal safty switches had a jumped on it, beats me never buy an PO project car. after 3 hours.

Your build project looks fantastic. You have done a really great job getting all your stuff fabbed up and getting your own work done.

I can't wait to see the final result and see some numbers from it.
