Hello, my name is Robert and I live in Spain, exactly in IBIZA.
I have a mitsubishi eclipse 420a RS. I bought the car with the engine broken, and decided to rebuild it and forge to make a turbo. Here in Ibiza 420a is very difficult to find, mine is the only one, so I was very lost to find parts and advice.
This is the material used.
JE Pistons. 8:8.1 .020
Eagle Forged H-Beam Rods.
ARP Head Studs
Cometic Head Gasket
Main and Rods Cleviete Bearings.
Injectors RC 440cc
AFPR 1:1
Turbo Kit Treadstone Upgrade.
Blow-off Greddy Type RS.
Oil Catch tank.
Sandwich for oil filter, for instal oil pressure and oil temperature.
AEM Wideband.
AEM Tru-boost.
3 inch exhaust line.
Coilovers suspension.
Evo Brakes front and rear. Calipers and Rotors.
Evo IX steering wheel.
And Megasquirt MS2/Extra firmware 3.1.1

And now, the car.

The old engine.

Now I've finished installing the MegaSquirt, but is giving me problems.
I've been talking velocitápaola and has given me some installation tips.

The MegaSquirt, I bought the company Symtechlabs, a kit ready for 420a.
I connected everything as it comes in the manual, but the radiator fan does not jump. the car arrives at 105 C º.I connected everything as it comes in the manual, but the radiator fan does not jump. the car arrives at 105 C °, but I stop before it is bad.

I have also problems with the idle, when I start the car the idle goes up to 3100 rpm.
paul talking, I was recommended that connects all the original temperature sensors to the stock PCM.
so that the idle should be managed with the stock pcm.
I hope to learn much from you, because I love this car and is making me learn a lot about mechanics.

This may sound crazy but have you replaced the engine coolant temp sensor. It looks like the way mega squirt works that it uses it both for fuel management as well as when to kick on the fan. So if it's bad your idle will be funny since its telling the ecu the wrong temp. Its probably defaulting to cold causing a rich condition and not letting the fan come on when it should. I would replace that first.

I connected everything as velocitapaola told me, and the change has been very good, and the fan operates.
But as I played the IAC is not regulated and does not maintain the idle. Know what the extent of pivot of the iac?

Is it hooked to the fast idle wire? how is it hooked up?

the iac control it with the stock pcm, but a friend was touching the tip of the IAC, hand spinning, I think a broken. I ordered a new, have if that solves the problem

Your build is looking good on a side note. I did a 95 build also with a t3 t4. Had the same idling problem but only when it was really hot out side. Above 90 degrees or so. I never was able to figure it out.

Thanks kccombs, I hope that when I got the new IAC is resolved.
I hope this is just the problem

thanks guys.
Daniel, the head gasket did not put anything. I was told that it is not necessary.

ok family, as I have problems to keep the idle of the car, ordered a new IAC valve, I have installed but do not hold me up. The problem is that I think very poor fuel, but I dare not touch tunerstudio tables.
The next week, will get a tuner to tune the car, I will tell you that this all.
