How long til it see's the dyno now? I'm not going to go off what you said earlier because deadlines, especially when it comes to cars, usually change.

I can't wait to see the final product!
 
ZERO, what do you plan on going with for your suspension set-up?

hoperfully you haven't explained that already and me forgotten it?

WELL....we do have big plans for the suspension...but I want to try and see the limits of the stock suspension then go from there. right now i have custom QA1 shocks and springs. when i say custom i mean valve size and rate along with the spring load.
but i do plan on doing a double bolt on double wish bone set up.

Im goingto run 13x8 weld drag rims with a maximum tire width of 9.0 and a maximum hight of 25.0...as far as what brand goes...dont know yet but the tire will be the diamensions above.


YES YES YES i really hope i go 9's it has always been my dream. and i really ### to accomplish my goals.
 
FYI: our cars use struts not shocks ;)
 
Wow i've kept up with this thread since day one and wow. Lol i have a feeling you're going to be gettin down the track with sheer power...no driving skill, no traction. You're going to have one super light, super high hp fwd beast

Well you said you were testing out limits of the stock setup first, thus why I said that. Don't want any confusion or misunderstanding from future readers and searchers that don't decide to read from page 1.

Regarding the c02 controlling boost:

He's right about it making more horsepower. I talked to my guy at horsepower connection, and I guess on his 1200whp 7sec nova they use the same setup.

The reason it makes more power is because you have the control over the top of the wastegate right away as supposed to waiting for the turbo to spool up to gain that control. With the wastegate held down already by pressure it allows a much faster spool which created more boost faster which should yeild more power in the end.

I know bad explanation, but it made sense to me when he explained it and showed dyno results.

You guys are missing the concept... it can't possibly make *more* power -- it can make power sooner, or control power onset, but it can't make more.

Yes there are a few parts that i plan on releasing for the 420a........but that is in the furture....

YES 9's is the goal and control is everything
 
He will have more area under the curve, with the wastegate not opening until the last moment. So I suppose, if you looked at it that way, there would be more power available, but it will not effect the big number at all. Would make for a nicer looking dyno sheet, though.

Should be easy enough to prove, one way or another, while on the dyno.

with reguards to the Co2
I agree on the turbo being able to spool faster and the power curve comming on sooner, being able to make more power at lower RPM's. Than a waste gate system with out Co2.
BUT
if the Turbo is Still making power at red line .....if the turbo can spool faster it will move the power curve to the left 200-500rpm wouldnt that produce more power on the top end also.
 
If your turbo is still making power and increasing in boost, what do you need a wastegate for?
