Ok. So I was searching and reading alot but I couldnt come up with a resolution to my problem. I have a 2g Auto GST. Last week my car was bogging. It did it at idle. When im driving it wont do it, only when the car is stopped. I was driving on the freeway when my check engine light came on. I figured it was maybe the spark plugs, so I stopped by Kragens and changed them. When I was taking the plugs out I saw that they had oil all over them. The problem went away after I changed the plugs and I disconnected my battery so the check engine light went away too. A couple days passed and now its doing it again. I ordered my gasket from the dealer along with the gaskets for the plugs (forgot what they were called) yesterday. Do you guys think that the problem lies in the leaking valve cover, or is there more to it?. I installed my boost gauge awhile back, could it be a boost leak? or would that have nothing to do with it? I dont think it would be my wires because I recently changed those, but maybe the distributor cap? Thanks in advance!
