My car is running really bad starting this morning, it starts to lag and stagger whenever I hit 2500rpm or more. It also has the CEL on, I cant find a boost leak. It did this a week ago, but went away until now and all i did is just removed positive connection on cable and reinstalled. Not so lucky this time. Can a bad connection to battery throw a CEL, cause its shi**y. The weird thing is it runs like a champ when CEL comes on like 1/4 of the time, even hit boost, but really shi**y the other 3/4 of time with the CEL. What is that about? I can also sorda smell gas when I drive. The weird thing is that my car just ran like a raped-ape for abouta week. WOW!!!! long timeROFL

3 codes were obtainedWTF Do you have any idea what this could be?
the codes read as followed:

trouble codes:
P0300 random / multiple cylinder misfire detected
P1104 manufactuerer specific powertrain trouble code

pending code:
P1104 manufactuerer specific powertrain trouble code

freeze code:
P0302 cylinder 2 misfire detected

Do you have any idea what this could be? Because I know nothing about what they mean.:confused:
thanks for the help in advance

That means your getting constant misfires, if the code keeps coming back and your car runs like crap, theres your answer. I would pull your spark plugs and check and replace them, as well as your wires, and hows your timing??

OK, I was going to replace plugs, is timing hard to check?
Also the selenoid valve is all crappy and was gooped togeather when I bought the car. it looked like the goop was falling apart so I redid it for now and the CEL came right off. Would that throw a CEL and cause my recent problems?

What is the "solenoid valve"?

According to the shop manual, for P0300, P0301, P0302, P0303 and P0304 the following should be checked:
*Ignition coil;
*Ignition power transistor;
*Spark plug; and wires
*Ignition circuit;
*Injector;
*O2 sensor;
*Compression pressure;
*Timing belt;
*Crankshaft position sensor;
*Air intake;
*Fuel pressure; and
*Crankshaft position sensor circuit and connector.

Not sure about the 1104.

Check the wires coming from the front O2 sensor for melting. Bad O2 signal = lean mix, no O2 signal = rich mix. If it ran really well, it may have been running a bit lean. Now you smell gas, you're probably running way rich because the signal is completely interrupted or the sensor itself is toast.

OK. today I noticed that when car is at a stop and I go it will pull like a mother fu**er still seems really fast, but right as I get to a constant steady RPM and hold it for over 5 seconds, then that is when it starts to shake, studder, vibrate, lose power, etc. And the CE#L is still on at all times.

Please help me fix this.THANKS.
