Hey everyone,

I finally got my DSM last night. I picked it up for 2000. The previous owner went crazy with red spray paint so thats my first project.

It's been idling pretty rough but look like all the hoses are dry rotted pretty bad. Any ideas where to grab some new ones?

Last there is a mysterious connector by the fuse box on the BOV side that I can't see where it goes.

Let me know what you think!

Been a long wait to get a DSM but it's here and I can't wait to get started working on it. Any input is appreciated :D

UPDATE!

After another junkyard run and some spray paint I have this thing looking decent. Picked up a shift knob from 93 Altima, Which is cool because thats the last car I had so it has sentimental value. I was stoked to see it threaded on and looks great.

Picked up the back center tail piece. Kinda pricey at $35 bucks but I was happy to find one with the Eagle logo on it! Also, I ended up just hitting the gauge bezel with some black spray paint due to being bored one afternoon but it turned out nice. The last things on my run I got was a driver and passenger window switch. I can now happily roll both windows down woo! Also picked up a new Valve Cover out of a galant crazy enough.

Back tail before:

And Now :

And some interior pics with the new to me shift knob :

Thanks for all the input and feedback. Now I feel like I can focus on the engine :thumb:

it looks alot better with the red gone, are you still having an idling problem or did you solve that?

Not yet, it comes and goes. I have to do some more searching on it. I still have that green wire unplugged at the throttle body because my car won't run with it plugged in.

keep up the good work, I had the same problem when I bought my 2g, the guy liked red spray paint on the interior pieces LOL
