Anyways, it needs a new caliper in the rear, possible brake line, and a headliner. No biggie. But there are a few minor things I'd like to figure out/fix. 1st: tranny grinds from 1st to 2nd or even worse on a 3rd to 2nd downshift. If your driving easy or real slow it doesn't grind, but get on it a lil bit and it does. New Gear oil? Other answers? Secondly, after driving and coming to a stop the engine will cut out. Not enought fuel for the boost? VR4 fuel pump and stock injectors not a good combo together? And lastly, on idle it shows little to no oil pressure on the aftermarket guage, but the stock oil light comes on. Oil level is good on the dipstick and under load or rev, but why the hell is it doing this to me? The aftermarket air/fuel guage bounces around so much I find it hard to believe it's accurate. It's the popular guage that shows air/fuel flow with the colored arc of red, yellow, and green (I'm retarded, I dunno the make/model). Any feedback/answers please post them.

-The A/F guage is just that, light bounce around, doesn't really give you much specific info.
-Try changing the fluid in the tranny, I like Red-Line oil, some other people have good luck with Synchromesh, I believe is made by Penzoil, also sold under GM's name, if that doesn't help, the synchro might be too worn out, time for rebuild.
-The oil pressure sender unit is located by the oil filter housing , test it out.
-Engine cutting out? what's the idle RPM?

Is the Blow off valve reciculated? If the bov is vented then that might be the source of the engine cutting out when you stop, due to the fact that the motor goes really rich when you blow off, ive heard of guys stalling cause of venting the bov before.

Yeah, the BOV is vented into the atmosphere. I will change the gear fluids to a better one and see if that stops the grind. I am getting a new caliper tomorrow and going to see if they sell a pre-bent brake line at autozone or napa.
