im hoping to break into 13's with crappy driver. how do you all like the new setup? i figured since ive had her from a year this january its time to make her feel new again.

Good choices on the setup...Looks like you did your research and found some good prices on the parts 13's sounds realistic with some good tuning but just remember that you are still FWD so the launches will be a PITA. That and you being a spyder are your really only disadvantages. Still, there's a few EvoIII powered spyders running 13's on the 1/4 times list here so you should be fine...

-btw, after upgrading all those parts, just remember to save some $$$ left for when a different part brakes

nah, unless im at the track or actually see someone worthy for full boost on the streets, i usually baby my baby and never even see 5psi.

but after this goes in i might save for a shepracing tranny rebuild with either a quaife or kaaz lsd.

or i might just say fwd spyder is done, moving on to awd 1g beast"

it would help to lower the chance of knock, but i dont really see full boost much and dont really race people in the heat of day, if i do race its late at night when its cooler and nobody on the road.

but theres a small chance i would be able to get a fmic by the summer, i might get the OBX kit, seeing as its an apexi core(or equal)that flows and cools the same. i would be the guinea pig.

i would go a little bigger than 550 because i ran out of fuel with my 550 on the evo16g at 18-20 psi.

Umm what fuel pump did you have by chance? i have the same setup and on 550s i run 20psi Hard also i dont have any fuel problems.

I've been 13.6/13.7 half a dozen times on a fwd 2g, no fmic, evo3 16g, stock suspension, bushings and motor mounts, street tires with some fairly crappy driving.
I'm sure you'll hit a 13.xx with some tuning and practice.
