Multimeter Testing Specs

Can anyone find a provide good detailed write ups for testing certain parts? I'm a noob with a multimeter, but need to check various things on my Talon, and my manual fking sucks for amp and resistance specs.

Things I'm wanting to test:

Knock Sensor
Crank Sensor
MAF
Ecu

or anything else that would make it barely run / run really shitty.

Car: 96 Talon Tsi Awd - auto / completely stock

If I can't get it figured out by sunday night I'm towing it to the shop, which I'd rather not do

I don't know if the factory service manual has the specs or not, but there is a copy online you could check.
