Ok so I want to replace my tip since the one on there is pretty rusted. It has a catback exhaust Megan , so I just neded the tip. The thing is I don't want a loud sound but I don't want to use a silencer . So my question is what size of muffler tip should I get one with the body 12" or one that is 14" ? And by body I mean the canister " folger's can" would that being bigger deaden the sound? Thanks

yeah i was going to look at some dimensions but i just wanted to know if size matters? to help deaden the sound if any

Not really.. The Apexi Dunk had a huge diameter can but with a silencer its extremely quiet

If you have a 3" exhaust it's going to be loud. Get a silencer that goes in the end of the muffler.

Yeah I have a 3 " exhaust already just the tip needs to be replaced. I like the way it sounds but I didn't want to make it louder than it us. I ask since the 12" canister is cheaper than the 14" .
