MTX-L Heat Sink Pics

I just purchased my MTX-L and should be here thursday. My question is about putting a heat sink on it. From what I've read the stock o2 hole should be fine and I can simulate the narrowband. Innovate recommends copper and I want to play it safe. Do any of you guys have pics of your heat sink? Just trying to gather some ideas. Being in the HVAC/R field I have plenty of access to copper cheap, and I can weld/braise just about anything. Thanks Chris

If your talking about a heat sink for a wideband I doubt it's necessary. In fact your the only person in years that I ever heard mention one.

I just installed my mtxl two weeks ago. I didn't use any of that. I just ran it around my intake manifold and stock location. I check 2 days ago. Seems new like the first day.

No problem. But I mean if you have the resources, go ahead and use it. It shouldn't be a problem.

Most people apparently get away with it and doesn't kill the sensor right off the bat. Reason being is the excess heat might overheat the sensor or at least shorten it's life span. In the LC-1 pdf manual it shows how to make one though:

Yea that was my original worry. I've read a ton of reviews and seems kinda per vehicle. But for the 20 minutes of work and I happen to have sheet copper I think its worth it. With the money I've got invested in this car better safe then sorry.

Oh yeah I hear ya.
And FYI there is a replacement sensor that is cheaper than the sensor specifically for the Innovate WBs'. I think it's from an Audi or Volvo. If you're interested it shouldn't be hard to find via searching google/dsmtuners
