Im super confused on this installation, the guide doesnt make much sense, and also do i have to cut a new hole in my downpipe or does it replace the original o2 sensor?

It isn't much simpler than this for wiring. Red goes to a switched power source, black goes to a clean ground, white is optional for dimming, brown would go to the ECU for datalogging if your tuning solution supports it.

Yellow is the narrowband wire which would be used if you have a stock ECU or a tuning solution that doesn't support narrow band simulation. It would get wired to the front o2 sensor wire at the ECU if you replace the narrowband sensor with the sideband sensor.

You have a minimum of 2 wires to hook up, power and ground. The output wires are just for logging or enabling NBS via the controller.
Simple install.

Don't forget that you can choose what the output voltages are for each wire via Logworks and you can setup the display. I personally have the sweep range go from 9.5-20 so its a bit more accurate.

If you are using Link be sure to set in the sensor preferences the same values as well as with the AFREst values.
