The 6 series ignition boxes on not designed for distributorless engines. You would have to have an ignition box per coil to make it work.DSMstatus said:hi, i know the dis-2 will work great but how about the digital-6 or 6al? i want a 2 step, do these have 2 step?
Yes, the DIS2 is also multiple spark CD (capacitive discharge). The DSI2 is designed for 4 cylinders with two coil packs. They are all pretty much designed to produce a spark series for at least 20* of crank rotation. All except for the digital-7 (which is 21-22*).bastarddsm said:do the dis2 systems still have multiple spark discharge? I know the older ones like the 6 and 7 series spark for something like 20 degrees of crankshaft rotation, but I don't remember if the new ones do.
