Msd ignition ?

Well i helped my friend put together a stroker motor and install it. When we went to fire it up it wouldnt start. First thing i did was pulled the plugs and see if they were getting spark. Its not firing on cyl 1 and 4 (left coil). The car has msd ignition and theres a brown wier that comes out of the msd thats not connect that im not sure if its supposed to go to. And then theres the white wire on the power transistor thats not connect. I have never messed with the msd before so i dont know if these wires need to be connected. Any help would be appricated.

What model? The MSD DIS-2? If so, the brown wire is a kill switch, just leave it disconnected. If it is grounded, the car won't start. Make sure the waste spark setting is correct. If your model has 3 sets of 8 dipswitches on the side, switch #4 under the SW1 category should be set to "ON". There are several white wires, you also have to tap into the white wire on the harness to get a tachometer reading. The plug you use to get the tach readingis the thin and wide one above the intake manifold and injectors, it has at least 10 wires coming out of it. Here's the manual for the model if it's the MSD DIS-2.

Theres a white wire that goes right into the plug for the power transistor is connected to a long block wire but its not connected to anything. What is it supposed to go to?
