Got my MR downpipe, but the flange is at the wrong angle... so it's going to an exhaust shop.
My WBo2 sensor is providing my narrowband signal as well as the WB. (Stock o2 went out and the WB's narrowband signal works great as a replacement).
My question is....
Because of my cabling and other wiring mods, I don't trust anyone at the shops around here to have a clue. And I'm sure most of them won't let me in there to "supervise"
. So I was wondering if there was a way I could remove the o2 sensor temporarily (long enough to get to the shop and back) without any major consequences.
I'm thinking I could just remove it, plug the bung, and tuck the wiring out of the way.... let them weld a new bung on the MR and do their thing... drive it back home and hook the sensor back up.
Any thoughts?
Thanks as always....

... the rear flange is the one that is off, enough to be obvious. The previous owner put a 2-1/2" cat back exhaust on, but left the stock downpipe WTF ... so the MR DP doesn't match up to whatever it is he had welded up. I'm gonna have to have a reducer welded to the existing exhaust also until I can get a full 3" back.
