Your stock O2 housing should work just fine. Or if you're looking to upgrade, you can pickup a ported 2g O2 housing for cheap.

now i keep hearing that a good evoIII has great air flow but that it may take some work to get the downpipe to fit with it is this true and how hard is it to get it to fit?

The problem that the Evo 3 o2 housing is the angle at which the downpipe attaches. Companies like Dejon Tool and Road Race Engineering make downpipes that eliminate the problem.
