Got some qs for anyone willing to help me? 1. I'm looking to possibly buy/build a motor can I get more power out of a built motor I did myself than a crate motor? Was looking at a stage 3 2.3 stroker on porterperformance.com? 2. 6 or 7 bolt motor? Currently have a 93 talon with the 7 bolt. 3. What is required to swap a 6 bolt? 4. Oil leaks around my oil cap on the valve cover, bought a new cap but it still happens?

as for me i would rather build than buy for the experience, im not sure what is required to swap to a 6 bolt in a 1gb but i am building a 2.3 right now on a budget found a non turbo block for free at my buddies bought an expo 4g64 crank for 100 had it checked for free bought used manley rods that were inspected for 100 then bought ross 9.0:1 pistons for 325 arp main studs so cheap strokers can be done and will make good hp best thing is a good machine shop and shop around alot of parts can be found without buying from a distributor right now i have about 650 and block needs bearings then can be assembled i got a 2 g head and had bolt holes bored found used hks 264/272 for 200 from my buddy so do your research and shop shop shop nothing wrong with being a jew but on somethings quality is more important, from what i have always heard 6 bolt bottom end is less likely to suffer from crank walk, i think if you can find a very knowledgeable person on here that is close to you pick there mind and find the person you will have tune the car take there suggestions as they will be determining best fine touches

On the oil cap leak you can try a double gasket.
