Motor Mount Install Question

May be a stupid question but, I ordered a new set of prothane motor mounts. Here. STM: PROTHANE MOTOR MOUNT INSERTS | 90-99 DSM | 13-1902 | 13-1901
My problem is the front/rear mounts, these ones in this kit do not look the same as the stock ones, but the trans/driver side ones look pretty straight forward.

You do know that the front and rear mounts are insert that go into the existing stock mount right? The side mounts are complete replacements for the stock rubber bushings.

They are inserts, for the front and rear is like a bolt on no need to cut or modify anything, its like adding more rubber to the stock mount. The other two are a complete replacement.

Alright, one last question. Does the flat side of the f/r inserts face the stock mount, or the curved side?

Curved side should fit into one of the mounts only one way, you'll get it once you try it. It should fit right in like a puzzle piece.

Flat sides face out. If you look closely at the factory F/R mounts, you will see that they are not solid; they have slots in them- this is where the curved, raised portion of the inserts fit, thereby bracing the factory mount to add a little more rigidity. For anyone whos interested, the newer Prothane kits now feature solid fronts and rears to fully replace the factory rubber vs the inserts.
