So I bought the 4 oem bolts and 3 nuts that go through the motor mounts. Couldn't find a thread on what the torque should be on them. I have a pdf that I downloaded from here with the torque spec for most of the 4G63 bolts and thought I might be looking at the wrong spot. At the bottom of the picture I included it talks about an engine support bracket. Is that what I'm looking for.

I need the spec for the trans mount bolt, front and rear motor mounts and the engine side bolt + the two nuts that screw on the studs and the bolt that goes through the center of those.

If there's already a post on this sorry about that still fairly new to navigating these forums.

This is for a 7 bolt btw

I just took pics straight out of my 97' mitsu service manual. I tried to upload them, but "too big for the server" error and I'm too annoyed to figure a quick techie fix. PM me your email and I'll send them if you want.

I appreciate it. Any idea on the torque specs for the trans mount bolt or the front & rear mounts? I've got a few different buddy's that have said to just tighten the crap out of them but not my style.

And to clarify when you say insulator nut I assume you mean the ones that go on the two studs that stick up on the mount.

Small and large is where you lost me though mine are the same size.

Thanks I will now !!

Anytime. Just trying to give you a good link that I reference for the same thing!

And a tip on files to large, just email it to yourself and you should be prompted to have the opportunity to resize it and if so shrink it 50% then it will post as a smaller file. MTC Good luck! :thumb:
Or take a a screenshot of it. That's what I do and it goes straight to your picture files so its already cued in there and you just have to select it to upload. Second post for specs:

And I always like this one:

This one has specs + a service manual:

Screenshot is another good idea, hadn't even given it a thought. Thanks!!!!

Judging by the description of the hardware you have and your avatar, this is for a 2G, correct? In the PDF document for a 2G, you'll be looking at page 32, under "PowerPlant".

The motor mount through bolt (nut) torque specs for a 2G are:
  • Engine mount insulator mounting bolt to body, timing side <4G6#>: 98-118 N-m or 71-85 ft-lbs
  • Transaxle mount bracket to body nut/bolt <4G6#>: 69 N-m or 50 ft-lbs
  • Front roll stopper bracket assembly bolt/nut: 56 N-m or 41 ft-lbs
  • Rear roll stopper bracket mounting bolts: 44 N-m or 32 ft-lbs
