Okay so I cannot get this motor mount off, the one on drivers side, can you get it off using just a socket wrench or do you need a comp gun? this is pissing me off I already sliced my finger cause i was trying to loosen and slipped

You don't need an impact gun, just take out the bolt and nuts holding it.

breaker bar and a socket wrench works everytime and it keeps your hands away from danger

You shouldn't be having trouble. Try some PB blaster and wear some gloves in case of butter fingers.

i used pb blaster and it didn't budge, I tried to get leverage with a bigger socket wrench still didn't budge. Im trying to get the bolt that's on the top of the motor mount to take it off the engine, not the bolt to the frame. I need to get that timing belt panel off to change the water pump

big wrench and a good 3foot breaker bar it gives you way more torque

Yeah when I do that I put a block of wood like 2x4 chunk or something on a jack and put it under the oil pan.Then jack it up until the motor moves up just a hair.That way the pressure of the motor pushing down wont be on the bolts.You also have to do that anywyas or you wont get that mount out .
